Sorry we weren't able to meet up online last night, we were in our heroic 10m group. I will be out of town for the weekend but will hopefully be back in time for our 25 man at 12:30 ST on Sunday. This will last a couple hours and I will be available afterwords to try running a few heroics if you're interested.

While seal of command and crusade would help hold aggro on mobs, I was tanking without it for a long time without losing aggro. While Ark IS an aggro whore with no aggro reductions, but a good tank would be able to use Righteous Defense or Hand of Salvation to keep aggro whores alive.
I've considered spending a couple points on divinity due to the fact that it increases healing effects on you by 5%, but that's just effects and not overall healing done to you. The points are better spent elsewhere.
I think that the problem is more with the rotation he's using or lack thereof. Yes, that's right, I said rotation in reference to prot. There's a good thread on elitist jerks about Tankadins and the 6/9/6/9/6 rotation:

The gear, gems, enchants, and glyphs look fine. I would suggest tweaking the spec a little and working on your rotation and maybe some hot keys for keeping raid members alive.

The fact that he left Bloodshot, joined another guild that he's now leaving and apparently playing the field with his applications displays a lack of commitment. That, coupled with his inability to tank effectively despite being well geared makes me hesitant to accept this applicant.

As much as I would like to have a tank to take my place so I can DPS I'm going to have to vote NO on this applicant.

Ok....There is a problem with your spec...well a couple. For one, You don't have Seal of Command for trash(your trash aggro problem). For two you are spec'd into divinity which is a holy pally talent. You also don't have any pts in seal of the pure which is a must for single target aggro with corruption. You are far from the exp cap of 26 so I suggest dump the seal of righteousness glyph(wtf ret glyph?) and get the seal of vengeance one with gives 10 exp(will help build more threat single target and less of a chance that the boss will parry your attacks and reset his swing timer making you take more dmg). The exp and threat stuff is critical for HMs which we are on. As it stands if Ark's warrior alt pulled off of you that you would have a bad day with my lock and ray in the grp. When you fix these things contact me(Lantz) and I would liek to run a heroic with you to see your threat and how easily you lose it(hopefully not). GL on your app.

I died almost on every trash pull..

Explain some key points in why you spec and glyph the way you do?::
I spec into prot for most of the survivability it gives and then I throw the rest in ret. I glyph for avenger shield for better agro and divine plea for the +3% dmg reduction.

What stats do you prioritize? What do you gem for and "Why"?: :
Stamina, strength, hit and def, and I get all stam but 1 or 2 hit if I'm not capped.

What professions do you have and why?:
Enchanting and Mining, Mining for the stat bonus, enchanting for the ring enchant it allows.

Whats your raid experience in Icecrown Citadel 10M and 25M?::
I know all fights.

What kinda DPS/HPS do you put out on fights like Sauerfang and Festergut 25M?::
3 to 4k dps

What Raid add ons do you use? ::
Deadly Boss Mods, Omen Threat Meter, and Pally Power
