1.) What kind of attention do you pay to meters such as Recount during Raids?
During boss fights i don't particularly pay attention to the meters, during downtime sure but not at the expense of the moment.

2.) Please define the term "Mechanics" and explain how they relate to raids?
Mechanics is the specifics of a boss fight, such as flame patches or enrages, basically the operation of a boss and the way the fight plays out, might even extend that term to include how each role plays its part during a boss fight..what a tank must do what a healer must do what a dps must do etc.

3.) My favorite question: All Druids have a battle res, but all druids have different positions in the raid. Please explain to me the order in which you believe each of these specs(Bear, Cat, Boom, Tree) should be battle ressing, and why?

This is somewhat difficult to answer directly, i would say boom, cat , tree, bear
Why? Boomkin is dps, already usually back with the ranged its easy to get to a safe place to pop out and throw a battle res, which is why i picked boomkin before cat, cat is gonna be up close and personal doing dps he needs to back out and get safe to cast the spell to prevent the person being ressed from being hit by a random aoe or cleave or whatever that the melee are used to avoiding. Then tree, while a tree can make sure he puts freshhots on tank or whomever before poping out making it a little easier for them than a cat, i'd rather a dps back off before a healer, they are away from the boss usually and can easily get to a safe place to op a res, Tank on the otherhand should almost never pop a battle res, a fast player can quickly pop in and out however they could be one shotted by the boss because the lack of armor so if possible i would say to not have a bear battle res unless there is another tank to taunt the boss off while they perform the cast.

4.) Would you be able to keep up with theory crafting with me? I would love to have another druid(especially a boomer) which could keep up with me in this topic.
I used to theory craft my hunter all the time, i'd love to get back into it. PWA was very big on it during BC
5.) And Finally: What are you looking to get out of your experience with VoV if you get accepted?

6.) I believe Festergut and saurfang are a poor judge of a boomers true potential as mechanics for both of the fights either require moving(a boomer's bane is having to run for spores right when an eclipse happens) and Saurfang's blood beasts require us immediately doing some CC's which drops our dps substantially, while classes such as mages and warlocks and other classes don't have that luxury. Please tell me where you stand on Damage overall for Gunship and Dreamwalker? These are the two fights a boomer should be dominating.
I cant say ive done those fights really, but i can tell you any fight where i am able to stand still i would be able to put out 5.5k-6k dps with my current gear
7.) Explain to me the exact mechanics of how starfall works, and how you, as a boomer, use this skill.
Starfall is a wonderful druid talent it allows us to be a competitive dps class, without it we would not be able to compete with the other high dmg classes
it works best with mulitpul mobs bouncing off other mobs to create more damage kind of like seed of corruption on a warlock, whenever a situation where aoe is possible i would use starfall , it makes up a large portion of the damage a druid can put it, it also triggers natures grace which speeds up cast time of our spells allowing for more casting making it one of the most important boomkin spells in my opinion.

8.) Link me to pieces of gear you'd be working on getting next: Not optimal best in slot gear, but ones you feel will be the easiest reachable upgrades from what you have now with Haste cap, crit cap, and hit cap in mind.

My are of focus on my gear replacement is Trinkets, Bracers, Back, Weapon / offhand and pants
Trinket is replaced by http://www.wowhead.com/item=47213 (abyssal Rune) i havent seen it drop yet, but been trying.
Bracers: You said it drops from trash mobs. http://www.wowhead.com/item=47213 Ghostly Wrist wraps havent seen those yet either drop.
Back: http://www.wowhead.com/item=47213 Flowing Sapphiron Drape from ony 25 would be easier to get i believe.
Staff: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50273 From H Pos would be an easy upgrade, and remove the need for my offhand of course because its a staff.
legs: [Lasherweave Legplates] From Badges unless i can get into icc and get pants from there.
and of course id be looking to get teir10.5 gear and working on my setbonus

Fix what I suggested, and let me know in your responses exactly what you know about your class, and make sure if you use any sources to let me know what those are. Overall, I don't think you really know that much about your class, nor do I believe you've done your research: Maybe overall research on casters, but definately not on boomers. If you were following the old "Moonkin guide for dummies" Post on EJ, please note that it's full of old, outdated information that no longer applies.

And a side note, when i say im interesting in doing top dps i dont mean at the expense of the moment or raid, its just a consolation to provide good dps..i came off the wrong way during my original post.

The Danish department of our guild is already very content, so don't be intimidated (though i doubt you will) by the advanced edition above this post. Im in Mannheim, however word through the grapevine is that we are moving to Italy. or another part of Germany because mannheim is closing. they dont expect that to happen for a few years though probably after my tour has ended so well have to see what will happen with that.
